1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply:
- DirectMatch: The platform and services offered via directmatch.nl
- User: Any natural or legal person who uses DirectMatch
- Candidate: A user looking for work
- Employer: A user who posts vacancies and/or looks for candidates
- Account: The personal environment of a user on DirectMatch
- Content: All data, texts, images and files posted by users
2. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all use of DirectMatch. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms.
3. Services
DirectMatch offers the following services:
- A platform for employers to post vacancies
- A platform for candidates to create a profile
- Matching between vacancies and candidates
- Communication options between employers and candidates
- Tools for scanning and analysing external vacancies
4. Account and registration
To use DirectMatch you need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- Keeping your login details secret
- All activities that take place under your account
- Reporting unauthorised use of your account immediately
5. Code of conduct
When using DirectMatch it is not allowed to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Post discriminatory, offensive or objectionable content
- Send spam or unwanted messages
- Disrupt the operation of the platform
- Collect data from other users without permission
- Use the platform for illegal purposes
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you post on DirectMatch. By posting content, you grant DirectMatch a non-exclusive licence to use this content to deliver the services.
The DirectMatch platform, including the software, the design and all associated intellectual property rights, remains the property of DirectMatch.
7. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy statement. By using DirectMatch you consent to this processing.
8. Limitation of liability
DirectMatch is not liable for:
- The accuracy of information provided by users
- Agreements concluded between employers and candidates
- Damage arising from the use of external vacancy links
- Temporary unavailability of the platform
- Loss of data due to technical failures
The total liability of DirectMatch is limited to the amount you paid for the services in the 12 months preceding the damage.
9. Prices and payment
DirectMatch offers both free and paid services. For paid services the following applies:
- Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise
- Payment is made in advance via the offered payment methods
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in time
- Refunds are only possible within 14 days of purchase
10. Termination
You can terminate your account at any time via the settings page. DirectMatch reserves the right to terminate accounts in case of:
- Violation of these terms
- Misuse of the platform
- Fraudulent behaviour
- Prolonged inactivity
11. Changes
DirectMatch may change these terms. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after a change counts as acceptance of the new terms.
12. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
